Environmental Commitment: The Phenomenal Impact of 500 Liters of Water Saved by a Filter

Standing in front of the workshop, dressed in red and blue, our new colleague catches everyone’s attention. This recycling bin, installed in front of the workshops, marks a significant step toward responsible waste management. Here, cigarette butts.

TchaoMegot: The New Face of Our Environmental Commitment

Every year in France, several billion cigarette butts are discarded on the ground. A single filter tip can pollute up to 500 liters of water. With the solution developed by TchaoMegot, a company based in the Hauts-de-France region, this waste becomes a resource. The collected cigarette butts are decontaminated—without water or toxic solvents—in a closed-loop process.

The Environmental Journey of Cigarette Butts

After being collected via customizable ashtrays, the filters are transformed into eco-designed insulation for construction or textiles. This circular economy approach is consistent with our industrial DNA.

Committing to this innovative initiative also serves as a reminder that a modern industry is a responsible industry.
