When the hit series returns to be produced in France

A mounting clamp designed for the home improvement sections at Leroy Merlin and Castorama. Nearly 100,000 units per year, a long service life, and serial number marking. Until now, the part was sourced from Asia… which led to major quality issues and supplier reliability that had become inadequate.

The customer’s need was clear: to secure this production in the long term, without ever compromising on part consistency.

After analysis and several manufacturing simulations, our engineering department designed a dedicated in-house production line that integrates all operations: punching, marking, rolling, forming, and separation. The strip moves forward, and the finished part emerges, with consistent dimensional repeatability across several thousand parts per month.

The result: a competitive unit price, elimination of non-quality costs, and a contract won over Asian suppliers. Production has now been relocated to France, in the Oise region. This is a concrete demonstration of what precision stamping can offer the mass retail sector.
