End-of-Internship Profile – Louis

Tomorrow marks the end of Louis’s internship. Louis, a first-year engineering student, has been with us for six weeks in our design office.

As an engineering assistant, Louis worked alongside Patrick FISCHER on mechanical design projects. It was a 100% on-site internship, rich in learning opportunities, as he was able to work closely with press tools, welding jigs, sheet metal fabrication, and more—a true immersion in the practical side of the field.

Passionate about mechanics since childhood—a passion shared by his family—Louis already knew he would pursue a career in this sector. These six weeks only confirmed that choice.

“VOTAT is a company steeped in history, with a wealth of expertise. This internship allowed me to better understand the use of materials and to familiarize myself with the challenges of design. I fit in naturally, and everyone was very supportive.”

Thank you, Louis, for your dedication, curiosity, and enthusiasm. The next generation is in good hands.
